In the morning we pack our luggage, and then it turns out that we have much less luggage than we expected, only 13 kg instead of the 25 kg that we bought extra. We now also check-in online.
We are picked up at 2 o'clock.
It is busy on the road, very busy, but luckily we have enough time, and at 4 o'clock we are
at Rotterdam The Hague Airport.
The Transavia flight is delayed, we cannot see how
much.
However, we can check in our luggage ourselves and go through the security check.
After the security check we arrive at the gates, we still don't see how much delay there is.
In a shop we buy beer and wine and drink it at our leisure.
Taeng has asked if we want to buy a special kind of cigarettes for her, but they are not for
sale in that shop.
It is getting busier, more and more Transavia flights are delayed, and more and more
Transavia planes are landing.
We are hungry and we buy something to eat, it is difficult to find a seat to eat.
Then suddenly the monitors show that the gate we have to leave through is open.
After waiting a while we can board, walking.
There is a delay of about half an hour.
The plane is perhaps three quarters full.
The flight is uneventful, and there is something to eat and drink for a fee.
We land in Pula, and walk to the baggage belt. We have to wait there for a while, but the luggage comes quickly. And then we look for someone from TUI who has to tell us which bus we have to take. The bus is quickly found, two more people arrive for the same hotel, and three more people for another hotel in the same place, Vrsar. It is about an hour's drive, it is already dark and we see nothing of the surroundings.
Checking in is neat and fast, and we are well explained how to get to our apartment.
It is already 10 o'clock and we want to eat something.
But the hotel kitchens closed at 10 o'clock, maybe they can order pizza for us, but that is
not possible either.
The reception advises us to bring the luggage to the apartment and then look for food on the
boulevard.
Nice, but we do not know the whole area.
We bring the luggage to the room, over a few steep slopes.
The first impression of the room is that it is spacious and tidy, fortunately.
We walk back to the reception and the exit of the hotel, and on the way we see two
escalators, too bad that was not mentioned because that saves quite a bit of climbing with
luggage.
We find the boulevard quite easily, heading for the light, and there are still shops open
there.
We choose Grill & Bar Prince, where we eat something, not good and not bad, but it is
filling.
Then we have a drink in the shop next door, Caffe Bar Nieves.
At twelve o'clock the bill arrives, the shop closes and we go back to the hotel.

We're going to sleep, cleaning up will happen tomorrow.

We tell what we have done and experienced during a trip and we also tell what we think about it; no more and no less.
This is not a travel guide, nor is it advice to visit a place or not.
There are other sites for that.
Our opinion about places where we have eaten, drunk or slept is not intended as a (positive or negative) assessment,
there are other sites for that.
It is our view of the situation at a certain moment and that view is influenced by our mood,
the weather and many other factors.
